Let's clear things up

Questions? We've got answers.

Who it's for

Prescription weight management is generally considered for adults with a BMI of 30 or higher, or 27 or higher with a weight-related condition such as high blood pressure or type 2 diabetes. Not sure where you stand? Check your BMI.

What's the difference between Semaglutide and Tirzepatide?

Semaglutide acts on one gut hormone pathway (GLP-1). Tirzepatide acts on two (GLP-1 and GIP). Your provider will recommend the option that fits your health history and goals.

Are these the same as brand-name medications?

No. These are compounded medications prepared by licensed pharmacies. They contain the same active ingredients as some brand-name products but are not FDA-approved and are not brand-name drugs.

Do I need insurance?

No. Programs are cash-pay. Your price includes your provider visits and medication.

What comes with my subscription?

Your subscription includes monthly visits with a licensed clinician, weekly group coaching on nutrition, mindset and movement, comprehensive lab testing through Quest Diagnostics, 1:1 nutritionist support with chat access, and bi-weekly care coaching from a Certified Medical Assistant.

Do I need lab work before starting?

No. During your first visit, your provider reviews your health history and orders any labs you need, such as a CMP, hemoglobin A1C, TSH and lipid panel. If you have labs from the last 24 months, you can upload them in your patient portal or email them to [email protected].

Where do I get my labs done, and what do they cost?

Labs at any Quest Diagnostics location are included in your subscription at no additional cost. You can also upload recent labs for your provider to review. If you aren't near a Quest location, your provider can order a general lab requisition.

What if a provider decides it's not right for me?

You won't be prescribed medication, and you won't be charged for medication. Your provider may suggest other options.
